Mike Cole is an Elvis Tribute Artist, Always Elvis, based in Melbourne, Australia who has been performing for over 20 years. He is a regular performer at international venues around the world. Mike was recently proud to be awarded ‘International Artist of the Year 2023’ by the largest Elvis Festival in Europe.
Mike’s day job is insurance. When he visited Guernsey for business in 2018 the PPBF Chairman discovered that Mike also travelled the world performing as Elvis. Mike was asked if he could perform a charity function for the PPBF, which he kindly did and he really enjoyed it – so do we. Mike is now back in the UK performing and very kindly offered to take a little side trip to Guernsey to support the Foundation once again. We are thrilled.
Mike started his music career fronting cover bands in New Zealand. He was asked regularly to sing Elvis songs, as people said he sounded like Elvis.
He now performs all eras of Elvis’s music; the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s. Mike thoroughly enjoys educating his audience about Elvis throughout his live shows; “I like to teach my audience things that they may not know about Elvis or introduce them to some lesser-known Elvis hits that they may not have heard before.” We can confirm that Mike really captures the voice, the moves and aura of Elvis.
Hosting this night for the PPBF will take you back to a time when rock and roll was at its purest and most influential state. He will bring back memories for those who lived in the era of Elvis and make new memories for younger generations, so dust off your blue suede shoes!
All funds kindly received from this amazing Elvis Presley Host-A-Night will go towards supporting local premature babies, critically ill children and their families during difficult times, staying in PPBF’s vital Compassionate Housing so close to Southampton Hospital, only 100 steps away.
