A baby boy from Guernsey, born recently at just 26 weeks, is the inspiration behind an upcoming Bingo Night to raise funds for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation (PPBF).
Noah, born to Skye-Niccoll Mollet by emergency C-section, is currently receiving specialist neonatal care in the UK and it is hoped that the family will be able to return to Guernsey in the coming weeks.
Syke’s loved ones have been working with Marie Le Prevost, who regularly organises local bingo events at the hall, to source prizes for the evening’s raffle.
The event will take place on Sunday 25th June at the Royal British Legion Hall at L’islet with doors opening at 3pm and eyes down at 5pm. There will also be food available on the night.
‘We are keeping our fingers crossed that Skye and little Noah will be home as soon as possible. We understand that Noah has been improving which is great news and the hospital staff have been doing a fantastic job to reassure Skye, as everything happened very quickly. Our Host A Night campaign invites individuals or businesses to fundraise for us through events, and making arrangements like these while a loved one is going through a difficult time, is incredibly kind. A big thank you to all involved.’ – Jo Priaulx, PPBF co-founder.
Those who wish to attend can contact Marie on 07781 406775 for tickets. Entry is £1 and books are £10.50 each.
