Vauvert’s Year 6 pupils will be jumping in bathing pools in full school uniform in aid of PPBF
On Friday 17th July, following tradition, Aggie’s year 6 students from Vauvert school will be completing a sponsored jump into the bathing pools in full uniform. They are raising money for the PPBF and specifically Aggie’s burrow in Southampton.
The PPBF have two apartments in Southampton for parents and children from the Channel Islands to use when they are receiving treatment at the Princess Anne hospital in Southampton.
The students are class mates of the late Aggie Nicolle, who the flat is named after. They wanted to do this sponsored jump in her memory and to help other families.

Aggie Nicolle was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in May 2014 and less than two years later the illness took her life. The PPBF’s accommodation near Southampton Hospital helped the family stay together as much as possible during Aggie’s treatment, and they have done much to support the charity in return.
We dedicated the apartment in memory of the beautiful courageous Aggie Nicolle and we are honoured that her name lives on within our charity.
