PPBF launches ‘Host a Night’
Host a Night is a fun alternative to buying nights, to support the PPBF’s compassionate housing.
Host a Night is a fun alternative to buying nights, to support the PPBF’s compassionate housing.
We are delighted to officially launch our ‘Host a Night’ mini campaign, packed with fundraising ideas to support our compassionate housing: Aggie’s Burrow and Isaac’s Pad. Both flats are a lifeline for local families with a premature baby or poorly child needing off-island treatment, and we’re encouraging our community to have a good time, for a good cause.
Safeguarding the future of our flats is a financial priority. Funds raised during public or private events make a big difference as donations go towards the running costs needed to keep our flats open for families during difficult times.
‘Host a Night’ is designed for those wanting to host a fundraising event as an alternative to buying individual nights to compliment the Buy-A-Night campaign. Whether an evening event is hosted specifically for the PPBF, or fundraising takes place during an existing date in the diary, every night counts.
The beauty of Host a Night is that anyone get involved. Businesses, schools, social/sports clubs, individuals, pubs, hoteliers and many others can host an evening event to fundraise for the PPBF’s compassionate housing:
Everyone who hosts a night will be featured on our online ‘Hosts of Honour’ list as a way of saying thank you. A big thank you to Suntera Global, Thomas De La Rue and the Cock & Bull for kindly incorporating the PPBF into their recent evening events.
